I don’t believe in coincidences
The Rubik cube. What about it? It’s the second episode we’re having it.
But, here’s the problem.
In Night Terrors, the Doctor picks up the cube and tries to do it, but he can’t. So, he throws it off saying:
Rubbish. Must be broken. I hate those things.
Now, new episode, The God Complex, another cube. The Doctor grabs it and makes it twist right in front of our eyes, just… blatantly.
And then, several scenes later, he has it on the table where he’s sitting at, solved.
But what strikes me is the fact that he wasn’t able to solve the cube when he was calm and at ease, and now that he’s stressed, angry and worried, he can.
I don’t believe in coincidences. Especially when we’re dealing with Doctor Who.
So what does the Rubik cube mean?
I’ve been thinking lately there is more than one Doctor in the play recently because of what happened in Let’s Kill Hitler. Is it another clue? Or just a production error?I’m not so sure we’ve been giving a linear view of the Doctor’s timeline in this season. Maybe we’re following the story with Amy and Rory’s eyes, so the Doctor might be changing every time without us knowing.
Time travel makes my head ache.
